Quinton Hall

Principal - Strategy and Management | Kaiārahi Rautaki

Quinton leads EQMade in the strategy, commercial and tourism areas.  An experienced senior executive with a strong focus on customer experience, design and operations having managed manufacturing, consultancy, support, and tourism operations.  

He also has significant project management experience with a focus delivering consulting, major capital works, acquisition and integration projects.  He has extensive experience in te ao Māori and stakeholder management experience at the iwi, rūnanga and hapū level both through recent projects and having been previously been the Chief Executive of Ngāi Tahu Tourism.  Quinton also has extensive governance experience and is Board Chair of Nelson Airport Ltd and Gymnastics New Zealand and is on the board for Jucy Rentals.

Ed Burak

Principal - Design | Kaiārahi Whakaniko

Ed is an experienced practitioner in human-centred design. A specialist in ethnographic research, experience design, and design thinking processes, Ed lives for opportunities to utilise his strategic design and research capabilities to help shape sustainable business. His role is bringing truth to the table by decoding the voice of the customer, workshop facilitation, voice of the customer insight and putting the end user at the centre of good design. Ed has considerable experience within the Tourism sector, having held executive roles within Tourism Holdings Ltd and Ngai Tahu Tourism over the past ten years, prior to which he held a senior design leadership role within Formway design Studio at the forefront of human-centric research and design.

Martyn Whitley

Principal - Projects and Digital | Kaiārahi Hangarau

Martyn has over twenty years of experience in the Tourism Industry. An executive leader delivering digital strategy, technology infrastructure and high-value capital projects and acquisitions. In his role as GM Digital Technology & Projects at Ngāi Tahu Tourism he led digital strategy and capital project oversight across a group of 14 world-leading tourism experiences. He was the Ngāi Tahu Tourism programme lead on the Dark Sky Project, Rehua development in Takapō for Ngai Tahu Tourism which opened in July 2019 and the All Blacks Experience development in Auckland.
